The 2024 Japan-Hawaiian Steel Guitar Festival

The 2024 Festival was held at the Royal Hawaiian Center's Royal Grove Stage on Friday, July 12, 2024 as a part of the annual Waikīkī Steel Guitar Week. Continuous performances began at 2:30 P.M. and ran through 6:30 P.M. Featured steel guitarists and steel guitar ensembles included Yukio Katagiri, Noriko and Shuji Tomita, Paul Okubo, Shinichi and Kumiko Kakiuchi, Kiyoshi "Lion" Kobayashi with his student Hajime Takahashi, and Masami Sato & Makana.

Emcees were Masami Sato and Shuji Tomita.
